ABOUT S.E.E.D NATIONAL COLLEGIATE VENTURE FORUM

Since 2003, the S.E.E.D. (Spirit of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development) National Collegiate Venture Forum has showcased the very best of student initiated new business launches from all over the U.S. This is a true venture forum (not another business plan competition), where undergrad and graduate students have the opportunity to present their companies and innovations to angel investor groups, venture capitalists, private equity managers, and individual qualified investors – to secure early-stage debt or equity funding. Over 250 collegiate ventures have been reviewed, and have presented to more than 50 different venture funding sources and representatives. The presentation and direct referrals at the 2008 S.E.E.D. Forum resulted in Nitride Solutions, LLC (developed by students at the University of California Santa Barbara) securing $2.4M in A-round equity funding.
